E-Commerce Marketing Manager

Marissa Webb seeks a tech-savvy, reliable, and highly motivated associate to oversee all web operations. You’ll be a vibrant addition to our dynamic, growing team with ​​an all-hands-on-deck mentality that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. We don’t expect you to know everything from day one, but you need the curiosity and drive to take on tasks and responsibilities proactively.

We are looking for a candidate who can start immediately in person at our New York studio with open availability from Monday to Friday. This role will begin as a freelance with the opportunity to become full-time.

Responsibilities

Website & Marketing

  • Maintain the quality of the website, ensuring a seamless experience and excellence across all pages of Marissa-Webb.com.
  • Execute all on-site promotions & alerts in addition to pitching ideas for weekly newsletters.
  • Create & upload ADA-compliant product copy, visual assets, and product details
  • Ensure availability of products on Google Ads, Facebook Commerce, and Instagram
  • Merchandise all site collections on a weekly basis
  • Oversee all customer service inquiries
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for optimal shopping needs and experience
  • Assist with seasonal assets including photoshoots, product images, and product preparation for showroom

Sales & retail relationship

  • Manage retailer communications and operations while assisting Showroom
  • Assist with the creation of various sales & marketing materials (ATS files, Joor data entry)
  • Assist with conducting new client research, prospecting existing & new stores
  • Book & invoice orders as they ship using Quickbooks
  • Assist with various data-entry tasks as needed
  • Work with the team to come up with monthly reporting and take ownership of it

Warehouse management

  • Monitor stock regularly and create weekly selling reports
  • Maintain pro-active communication with warehouse, sales reps, and all wholesale accounts
  • Work together to ensure that our account is well taken care of
  • Assist in prioritizing tasks and requests as needed
  • Understand lead times, holidays, capabilities, and other functions to best support the business needs
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Quality control of all products alongside production and design
  • Partnering with production and showroom to establish delivery dates and ensure a smooth ship window
  • Oversee shipping process for all wholesale orders, including uploading pick tickets, allocations, creation of return ASN’s/RTV’s
  • Cross-reference PO’s against JOOR orders with a fine-tooth comb
  • Reporting to the team: status updates, delays, successful deliveries

Support

  • Provide support to cross-functional teams (sales, production, design, e-commerce, warehouse) and assist accounts as needed
  • Organize & merchandise samples in-prep/throughout the market
  • Update materials with up-to-date, accurate, and relevant information as needed

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years work experience
  • High School diploma or higher level of education
  • Understanding of web operations
  • High level of Shopify proficiency
  • Web coding is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must be strategic and have a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude
  • Must be highly motivated to lead and grow the position, know how to manage time, and deliverables, and work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • High level of Excel proficiency is a must (pivot tables, complex formulas, basic macro knowledge, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of warehouse management is a plus
  • Strong copywriting is a plus
  • Experience using Bergen Logistics CRM a plus
  • Experience using Quickbooks a plus
  • Experience using Joor a plus
  • Experience using Mailchimp is a plus
